Copyright Information
As the artist, I retain all rights to the artwork, copyright and reproduction rights.
I do not allow for the purchase of copyright, full reproduction rights, or rights to sublicense. All work I do is digital
and ownership of the original file cannot be purchased as well. I do, however, license art so if there is an image in
my gallery you are interested in using, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss terms.
Cancellation Policy and Refunds
When the artist cancels a project:
Sometimes
I decide to take on a project and halfway through come to the decision that the project and I are clashing. In this instance,
I will give a FULL refund if any money has been paid already.
I take a very long time to complete work but have
a guarantee that I WILL finish your commission. However, there are some instances that I feel I've taken too long and will
offer a refund or partial refund.
When the client cancels a project:
If, for whatever reason, a client decides to cancel a project, I will refund anything past the point of work
done. So, say you want a full illustration, I get to putting rough colours down and you decide to cancel. Anything over
$40 will be refunded to you. Refunds are given without question in this instance.
If, however, the project was
complete and a refund is wanted due to unsatisfactory results, a refund will NOT be issued. HOWEVER, I will work with the
client to correct the problem. The reason I will not offer a refund in this instance is because the work has already been
completed. As I paint, I offer multiple works in progress shots to give the client a chance to change what they wish. It
is not my obligation to ask if something needs changed each step of the process-- I expect that from the client. As well,
once a piece is completed, I will ask for any further changes to make sure both parties are satisfied.
If an
emergency occurs (such as medial bills, death, lost job), I will issue a full refund despite what work has been done. In
this case, it HAS to be a legitimate emergency; not just because a client wants their money back to go partying. In that
case, it will be a partial refund.
----------
I have the right to refuse any commission based on religious morals, subject,
lack of time, or other reasons.
